Developmental research strongly supports high touch and strongly bonded interaction with young children to promote emotional and intellectual development. The most important foundation for your child is a healthy and happy place to build emotional bonds with caretakers, learn language through constant interaction, develop fine and gross motor skills through indoor and outdoor play, be given the freedom to explore and learn through structured and unstructured play, and learn social skills through engagement with other children.

By providing our kids with a home setting within walking distance of a park, and having long-term consistent and trusted staff, we are providing the solid foundation upon which your child will develop as they enter school.

I made this choice to provide care for other children after having my first child and was shaken by the thought of having to place my child in the care of someone other than a close family member. When the search for good care proved difficult, especially when wanting a ‘home-away-from-home’ feel for my first child, as well as a place that allowed lots of open play without too much structure, I decided to focus on early-childhood education. The rest is history!
